Election Day 2022 has come and gone in the States. Depending on who one was rooting for, and what proposals one was wanting to pass, or not pass—this is either a banner day, or a day of depression.
For me, in my State, it is a day of depression. As I was mourning—a song came to my mind—I have no doubt that God Himself, reminded me of the words from this song—and so now, I share it with you all—-God is on the Throne…..
We The Kingdom – God Is On The Throne (Live From Franni’s House)
Just sink yourself into these words:
God is on the throne
He reigns forevermore
Just think about it
Just think about it
Why should I worry
Why should I fear
Why should I run
When Jesus is here
I’m safe in His arms
Safe in His heart
Nothing can take me away from His love
God is on the throne
He reigns forevermore
Just think about it
Just think about it
God is always good
He loves like a father should
Just think about it
Just think about it
When I am anxious
When I’m afraid
I find strength when I call on His Name
I’m safe in His arms
Safe in His heart
Nothing can take me away from His love
He’s the King of power
The King of kings
He is the Lord over everything
To Him be the glory, the honor and praise
Forever and ever, amen always
Hallelujah, He reigns
Hallelujah, He saves
Hallelujah, always
He’s never gonna let me down
Now, this encourages me!! May you be encouraged as well!!
How beautiful!

In these days of transition into the new, we will see chaos and hardships. But for those who know and are intimate with God, they will do great exploits. God wants us to know that he is the one who will save the USA not any politician. We will see ourselves in a spit like the Hebrew children coming out of slavery in Egypt. Pharoah and his army pursued from behind and the Red Sea was in front of them. God parted the sea and they all went over on dry ground. When Pharoah and his army pursued they said the Hebrew God was working against them as their wheels came off and then the water came over them and they all died. God said the enemy they had seen for a long time, they would never see again. God is going to do the same thing for us. Everyone will know that God has fought for us and brought the victory. A huge harvest of souls will come into the kingdom of God. He is on the throne.

Good points. It is important to remember what we can and cannot control. We cannot control the media. We cannot control what others choose to believe. We can bear in mind that human institutions are always flawed because they are human, and remember the divine, which is separate. Jesus did not want political power for himself. He expressly stated this. Many of the Founding Fathers of the United States were deists. All strongly believed in the separation of church and state, because they were acutely aware of the oppression too often fostered by kings who claimed divine rights. To the best of my knowledge, the values held by Jefferson and Adams and George Mason and others were also shared across almost all religions, even by cultures known to govern themselves via philosophies instead of religious doctrine. We humans can use the reason given by us by God to – first and foremost – be grateful for the ability to imagine a perfect leader and loving parent who has our back in an uncertain world.

This world will always disappoint. Our politics aren’t divine or even focused on God. But He is in the midst of this–for His glory and for our good. I believe that with all my heart. Thanks for this, Katers.
