My daughter Julia taught herself how to knit when she was 7 years old. (I tried to teach her, but did not know how to myself, and could not figure out the instructions in the books we checked out from the library. 🙂 ) She has made a video–per a classroom assignment–to help others learn how to knit. I love it!! She has even taught me how to knit–and I’ve been making dish clothes by the dozens!!
By the way, Julia knit the gloves she has on in this picture. 🙂

Her picture says it all–very impressive. I have tried to knit and crochet both. Bombed both times. I don’t think I’m patient enough to do it well enough to not get frustrated. Says something about me, I guess.

I have been doing a lot of knitting during this quarantine — but I have a daughter who has patiently taught me for ….YEARS!! It is not a gift I have–but now that I am knitting–I find it is a good thing to do with my hands 🙂

That is an amazing picture! I learned how to crochet at my daughters Girl Scouts event. It’s a lovely way to pass time, and create useful and unique items!

Not sure why I didn’t comment back to you at the time–probably got interrupted and forgot–but I noticed you comment again, and wanted to thank you for taking the time to give us some feedback. I myself am a very poor knitter, but am getting a bit better, the longer I knit. 🙂 My daughter is a big reason, I knit at all. 🙂
